Job description

The Data Visualization expert would work closely with Data Analytics teams across 12 Asia-Pacific territories to develop compelling visuals to contextualize the outputs of data analysis and advanced data analytics.

You should have experience working with data visualizations, telling stories creatively, ideally using Power BI, but expertise in Tableau and other visualization tools will also be considered. Some knowledge of finance and M&A would be beneficial, but deep experience in these areas is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Create graphics and visuals, infographics, maps, charts, interactives, visual explainers, and other visual storytelling formats for our data analytics in teams across Asia-Pacific.
• Pitch, report, and edit visual stories and graphics.
• Work with geographic and mapping resources.
• Review visualizations and graphics to ensure they uphold rigorous standards.
• Work closely with project teams to present the visual work to clients.

Requirements

• A desire to push visual storytelling forward and the ability to think creatively about how we use graphics and data.
• Considerable experience with information design, data visualization, and visual storytelling.
• Experience working with some combination of modern data and visualization tools, in particular Power BI (Tableau and other tools a plus).
• Some familiarity with modern mapping tools.
• Excellent communication skills – able not just to work with colleagues to create and shape the visualizations for a project, but also to walk through a story pitch with clients.
