Johan is a Vice President at VantagePoint and a seasoned specialist with extensive experience in the Manufacturing and IT domains. He has both hiring and hands-on experience in his sector allowing for a deep understanding of the markets he is involved in.

Upon graduating with a degree in International Management from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Johan began his career in talent acquisition. He worked at a Japanese automation specialist and later at a multinational recruitment firm, where he built and managed a team focused on the Automotive industry. Later he served as the CEO of a Foodtech start-up, developing a delivery platform business from scratch. In 2021, he returned to search, focusing on Automotive, Industry 4.0, as well as IT Technology in Manufacturing.

With a lifelong interest in technology topics, Johan has a deep technical understanding of software, hardware, and mechanics allowing for a deeper understanding of very niche roles and functions.

He is fluent in Japanese, in addition to English and native Swedish.
