Job Description

Our Credit and Fraud Risk team is growing and we are seeking a manager to take a leading role on our Lending products. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to drive improvements within the Consumer and Commercial Risk lending strategies and customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the design, development, implementation, and monitoring of new risk strategies and initiatives for our Lending portfolio.
• Develop strong relationships with colleagues from the Central Risk Management organization, as well as Operations, Product, Marketing, and external partners.
• Monitor key lending credit performance metrics, and trends, diagnosing problems and identifying opportunities.
• Support product, and marketing partners on optimizing profit by balancing growth and credit risk.
• Interest to understand the market landscape, regulatory requirements, competitor practices, and look for opportunities for innovation.

Qualifications: Must-Have

• Resident in Japan + valid work visa.
• Strong communication skills - Fluent/Business Japanese (N2) & Business English.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work efficiently in a cross-functional team environment.
• 6 years’ experience in analytics. Any credit risk management experience will be valuable.
• A passion for solving problems with data, technical know-how, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze data and derive meaningful insights to affect business outcomes.
• Experience with statistical programming language e.g. SAS, SQL, R, Python.
